Our exploration in science will take us a bit further back in history than the early American’s crossing of the Bearing Bridge during the ice age, and to the other side of the world. Joy Hakim’s “The Story of Science, Aristotle Leads the Way” will be the basis for this semester’s science studies with appropriate add-ins for science experiments and further study and every possible scientific cross reference to the explorations of the “new” world.
The timelines intermingle between the two studies and the children will be developing notebooks of what they learn as well as their own historical timelines that will incorporate the old world events with the new world events as they begin to interweave!
We are also covering a bit of human anatomy on science day. Learning a bit about ourselves and how this incredible body system of ours works!
