Our Permaculture Journey
Our story of permaculture conversion
Here you will find blog articles and podcasts relating to our permaculture conversion journey. We are taking this 40-acre farm with completely depleted soils and turning it into a food forest oasis in Charles City County, VA. It will be a long process involving a lot of moving parts and labor. The farm will include zones (or areas) for market gardens, fruit and nut orchards, 4 season growing spaces, silvopasture/rotational grazing, educational spaces, spaces for hanging out, and more. The work will be accomplished by humans, animals, and nature.
